Welcome to AES Room #4!

                      Mrs. Sill
Ms. Candler

The early childhood setting is an extremely rewarding environment for teachers like me.  I am one of the lucky individuals who has spent most of her working career in this amazing learning environment!

One of the things that I love most about Kindergarten is the huge learning curve that happens over the course of the year.  Your child's Kindergarten journey will give him or her many opportunities for academic success and feelings of accomplishment.  The learning experiences will also teach your child many lessons that will help him or her in life.

While Ms. Candler and I have a lot of fun with your children each day, I have always felt that parents play a vital role in their child's education.  You are truly the key to your child's success and future in academics.  Thank you for all that you do for your child.  Your child may not realize all of the sacrifices that you have made for him or her over the years, but please know that you are of utmost importance to him or her and we appreciate you!

To reward you for all of your hard work, I want you to enjoy some of the wonderful learning opportunities that we get to see on a daily basis.  It is not always easy for young children to remember the details of a school day.  However, this blog may jog their memory and enhance your conversations at home.

Please use this blog as a window into our classroom.  We will do our best to give you a sampling of the fun learning activities that we accomplish each week.  If you look closely, you may even see a few "light bulbs" of understanding in the faces of the children in our class.
