We had a blast at Brookdale Farm! Even the bus ride was exciting for the preschoolers, since most of them had never been able to ride on a bus before!
First we had a delicious picnic lunch. Then we got to go on a very bumpy hay ride that was pulled by a blue tractor! We even learned about field corn at one of our stops. However, the highlight of the hayride was when our tractor stopped at the pumpkin patch. We were surprised to learn that we could each pick our very own pumpkin to take home with us! We all picked a pumpkin that was unique to our personality & were very proud of it.
When we got back to the barn, we were able to see some real animals. We even got to pet the sheep and the donkey! We can't wait to come back to the farm again, soon.
